Read over on the XX thread... Pickup, like anything, is stereotyped by its extremes. I agree with the bay area article though; pickup these days is about building confidence, learning skills that you missed out on while hitting the books, and meeting a nice girl--not necessarily going out and sleeping with every girl you see.

In what parallel universe are divorced women with double-digit number of former lovers (and quite likely a sprog or two) AREN'T considered used up?

Someone brought this quote of yours up in twox. I'm curious- answer honestly. Would you consider a man in the same situation: divorced, double digit number of former lovers, and a kid or two...used up? I ask this because, judging from some of your other comments: while you may not have a child or be divorced, you don't really seem to be that virginal.
