Wanted to start by saying hey to everybody just found this subreddit the other day and I'm still getting used to the lingo, but I digress.

So I'm a college student and there was a girl in one of my classes that caught my eye. During the first class we sat next to each only to later be divided into semester long groups who we had to sit with. Two weeks go by and I finally make my move (this Monday). At the end of class I reintroduced myself told her I was interested in taker her out on a date and gave her a piece of paper with my name and number. Get a text from her today says, "I'm flattered but dates are not really my strong point, I'm really awkward and am coping from a ended long term relationship...but maybe we could just hang out with some peeps sometime?" I respond, "Sounds good, don't need to make things awkward, but you have my number."

So whats your opinion guys?
