This may be something more appropriate for AskSeddit, but how do you guys remember so much detail of your encounters in your FRs?

I have been accused by a wing of giving the impression of not actually caring whether the HB du jour comes or goes. I'm starting to see what he means by the simple fact that after an interaction, I often have trouble remembering what was even said by either party, to the point that I've opened the same set at a bar on two separate nights and did not notice for the first 10 minutes. I believe my high energy and general affability are the only things that saved an instant blowout.

It has become easy to railroad through rapport and get a number and a name, but then forget many of the details that could lead to a callback reference.. Worse, I've even mixed up HB details during particularly long conversations when they were sitting near each other. Perhaps I have taken the plethora mentality a bit far..

So, seddit, how do you keep things straight in your collective heads? Mnemonic devices? Phone Apps? Writing a report for every encounter (no matter how successful) at the end of the night?
