Interesting stuff probably happens to you every day. It's not about the shit you've done (though it definitely helps if you've got some good stories), it's about your ability to tell the story and play it up.

If you don't already, start watching Curb Your Enthusiasm. Larry basically walks around doing nothing, yet is constantly noticing things around him that are interesting to him, jotting them into his memory, then recalling them later in social situations, often to the chagrin of a female companion. Ok, I know it's a TV show, but it provides a great play-by-play example of what guys on here are suggesting you should try to do. As Larry demonstrates time and again, you don't even have to have a whiz-bang exciting lifestyle to emerge from your day with intriguing little anecdotes. You just have to pay attention to what's going on around you and find things that are intersting to YOU. And that's part of the point here. If things are interesting to YOU, then you'll be able to talk about them and convey why they're interesting. Oh, and practice, practice, practice :)

Why not go out and make some interesting stories of your own? Travel, see the world, start a Nerf war with the nearest local kindergarten..

I worked as a paramedic for years, so I just tell people horror stories. That seems to hold peoples' attention.

Yeah don't worry you'll think of some. I have some super EPIC life changing stories that I use when creating deep rapport (but the can sound like bragging if not done properly). I also use a bunch of simple stories that are funny/entertaining (like I have one about a skunk chasing me) simple but it works.
