I went out last night by myself with tentative plans to meet up with this girl since she was going to the same party. Here are the highlights of the night.

If you're trying to go through it quick, just read the Pushed Myself to Get Rejected part, as that was probably the more difficult and confusing part of my night.

Grind With Random Girl

After opening a few people and most of it going nowhere, and hanging out with that girl a bit I mentioned above, I saw her flirt with another guy. OK! Let's go meet some women! I'm usually terrible with dance game, but out of the blue, I saw a girl look at me and without thinking I went over there and grabbed her hand. We danced for about 2 songs, and probably should have escalated to a kiss (my hand was around her waist/ass), but this alone was a big step for me.

Talk to Everyone, They'll Hook You Up

I started by heading to the bar, and this guy came up next to me. He was a bit cold at first, but I warmed him up and eventually we got into a solid conversation and became friends throughout the night. At one point in the night he was with his group of friends (all girls), and said "which one do you want? I'll hook you up with one of them". I for some reason didn't take him up on this (I think I felt awkward on the spot like that, I sort of regret it now) but still, it's good to know if you make friends at the bar they'll set you up with their friends.

Pushed Myself To Get Rejected

Bar closes, and I'm about to leave when the girl I was meeting up with asks what I'm up to (some guy just tried to take her home, she declines). I go back to her place with an out of town friend who is staying the night, and the girl is all over me. Holding hands, letting me grab her waist, etc.

Night is coming to a close, and I escalate to kiss her doing the 90% 10% method, and I keep getting the cheek turn (no, it wasn't my breathe or anything like that... she keeps doing this.). But I get the cheek turn all the while she's still holding on to me, and I'm holding her by the waist. I try more, but again, she keeps doing it, so I eventually just kiss her neck, she kisses mine, but won't give a normal kiss.

This is something she's been doing for a while, and it really confuses the shit out of me. It's not stopping me from hitting on other women, but what is HER deal?! (There is plenty of comfort at this point, we used to make out earlier in the year).

She apologizes and tells me she's horrible, and I just laugh it off, tell her goodnight and leave. Outcome independence. Any advice on this one?

TL;DR Went out tentatively meeting a girl who always gives me mixed signals. Talked to everyone, some people were receptive, some weren't. Made some friends who offered to hook me up with their friends, and forced myself to get (weirdly rejected) by the mixed signal girl. What is this girl's deal, and how would seddit handle this?
