I found that out of all the pickup artists I watched, one of my favourites was DJ Fuji. The dude has his own style, he talks confidently, his 21 Convention talk dealt with the fundamentals and disciplining yourself for pickup, and he just overall seems like a really cool guy. Not many of my friends have heard of him but he really stood out to me, even though I personally haven't heard much of him either.

So I added him on Facebook some time ago. Again, he seems like a really cool guy. But there's something off-setting about him and some of these artists.

For one thing, they all have some firm belief in life coaching. While I'm not doubting the power of removing our fears and keeping ourselves balanced towards our goals, life coaching right now seems like some shady psychology deal. There is very little formal education involved with it - no real college programs with some ehh private schools like Certified Coaching Federation where you earn a certificate - and it is, in my opinion at least, still nothing compared to actually holding a degree in psychology or some sort.

Lots of the guys in the industry also advocate having a good female social circle... yet when I take a look at some of their social networking pages, all I see is pickup advice, clubbing pics, and bro posts. Being still in my very early 20s, I know guys that are well-connected with women beyond just seduction. I can feel the vibe and when I stalk their walls for whatever reason, I can see it as well. I can see women tossing them value. Yet I can't find it in some of these bigger names.

I don't want to conclude this as saying that something feels wrong here but I do want to have a discussion on how you feel about it, guys. I have about 5 or 6 guys on my Facebook and there are just these simple patterns I keep seeing with them.
