I was thinking today about how the left brain corresponds to the right side of our body, and vice versa.

Mix this with the fact that the left brain is considered to be the seat of reason and logic, whereas the right brain is intuition and feeling.

So, my hypothesis to be tested: Kino on the left side of the body will stimulate the right brain more, and generate better responses since it is the emotional center.

Anyone interested should try to test this and come back with results! I'll follow up with any information I find interesting, and of course I'll let you know if there's no discernible difference.

I'm coming up with this on the fly. Any tweaks/suggestions will be appreciated.

Should be done on women who you haven't approached previously, and preferably those who don't have any ideas about you as far as social proof / other psychological factors go. Try to keep your body language and vocal tonality the same for all approaches. Approach all kinds of girls, in any setting.

Experiment 1: Direct approach, instant kino. Walk up to the girl, use a direct approach line of your liking and lead the conversation with some form of kino: I'll be using a touch on the arm or shoulder. There should be three test groups:

  1. Control group: lead just with the direct approach, no kino.
  2. Left group: lead with kino on the left side of the body.
  3. Right group: lead with kino on the right side of the body.

Things to observe and record: 1. Initial facial expression upon kino of approach 2. Willingness to continue the conversation 3. any tell-tale IOI's or IOD's

Experiment 2: Observe response to kino throughout an entire interaction. Run your normal game, with the caveat that your kino falls into one of these three groups:

  1. Control group: normal kino. Just run your normal game.
  2. Left group: throughout your interaction, direct all or most kino at the left side of the body.
  3. Right group: you get it.

Of course, if it would be awkward or inappropriate to go for whichever side of the body, don't do it.

The measurement metrics will be a little bit harder here, we'll just have to make note of generally how she responds each time you kino and overall how the interaction goes.

Edit 2: Beware of confirmation bias! This idea may actually have some underpinnings in reality, or it could be completely bunk. If you want to help and test, don't assume that the hypothesis is true. If possible, have an unknowing friendly sarger try the experiment, without informing them what we're looking for. Observe the outcome.
