Sup guys,

So basically my new years resolution was to become more alpha, since I've been acting beta all my life (M/18) and seeing it isn't going to get me anywhere, be it women or just life in general.

I've been lurking on seddit and am trying to improve myself, which so far has been going pretty well, still have some AA, but once I'm in the conversation I don't feel as shy as I used to; also I've been working out and trying to quit smoking. I've been meditating each day as well, to keep myself focused on positive thoughts and to process what happened during the day.

I'd say I've improved a lot, but lately something's been bugging me, around december I had a huge crush on a girl in my class and after the exams I pretty much fucked up because of my overwhelming betaness. I'm trying to get over it, and sometimes it seems to work, but now she's seeing someone else, and I can't help but think that I could've been that guy if I were more alpha.... However, I am not letting her show the fact that I still 'like' her, and I'm doing a pretty good job of keeping my cool around her. Not completely ignoring her, since she sits in front of me in class and regularly asks stuff; but I'm not starting the conversations, and keep my responses short and clear, but not in an 'asshole-ish' way.

Just asking for some tips on how to forget that and keep my morale high to be more attractive in general.
