Texting ideas to keep up the interest?

Use texting as a means to an end (date,hangout, etc). Don't burn up material through a text.

My texting game needs some work so take this all with a grain of salt.

Twice in a day is too much honestly. Attraction fades, so you should use texting to maintain what you built up during the conversation; to remind her why she was digging you when she saw you in person. I usually invite a girl out after a day or two of meeting her, granted my schedule permits it. If she's busy or something, I'll tell her that's too bad, and she owes me something when we see each other again. I'll usually segue that into some kind of sexual conversation, but that's all apart of my own persona.

I'll usually text her right after meeting her something smart and funny like, "VIP number, lose at your risk - cavitycreep". The next day I'll send her a funny and casual way of saying hello; remember, most guys just say, "Hey what's up" proceeded with "how are you/what're you doing". This is the most boring way to start a conversation.

As far as how often I do this, I'll usually send her a text the next day of meeting her and invite her out that night. I try to keep the conversation short, within a couple of hours. When I deem it's been too long or something, I tell her I've got to go and I'll talk to her another time.

Beyond texting, you should be asking yourself, do you want to put forth the effort into someone who is as busy as a med student? I know I wouldn't, so I'd probably put her into a FWB/one night stand category. Remember: you shouldn't be focusing on changing/understanding how she sees you, but you should be judging and deciding how you see her.

Personally, I don't like texting unless it's a ping, it's to make plans, or if it's a friend not a random hookup. I've fucked up too many times by texting, and it usually isn't worth it. It's too annoying to convey emotion through text. I prefer building/maintaining attraction in-person, so texting for that doesn't really do much for me. And since I don't enjoy texting banter too much, texting a girl won't really get me laid quicker, unless it's to make plans.

Occasionally if I'm bored in class, I'll send random texts to girls that I haven't talked to in a few weeks. A good one I found here was, "You haven't called in weeks, the rent is due, and the kids are hungry! The hell!?"

Generally, texting is only to "check in", make plans, or confirm plans. You get little increase in comfort through text, but burn mystery and novelty.

Now if you couldn't meet till next weekend, I'd tell you to use some callback humor and rebuild some rapport. Call her a funny nickname, say you say a slobbering baby (or something) that reminded you of her, and that you have to run but you just had to say hi after that. Or text, then say you're busy but you can call her in a minute. Then talk, briefly.

But it's two stinking days, over a weekend. Have one texting session, just to confirm, then let her wonder what you're doing over the rest of the weekend. If she asks, tell her it was amazing, but you're slammed busy and will tell her all about it on Monday. Then end it, till Monday.

I suggest asking her on a date because being able to talk to a girl in person is more beneficial than texting. When I text a girl that I've gotten her number. I keep it casual but not boring and I don't text them often only for small talk and to make plans to go out. But in person I pretty much say what I feel at the moment I just say it with as much confidence as I can and girls respond to confidence. So ask her on a date. what do you have to lose really. Don't be afraid to take risks.

Act like you're not too interested...it's hard to explain but my gf freaks out if I act like i have other shit to do...
