I enjoy getting high, but not when I'm gonna pick up. Talking smoothly ends up sounding like garbled nonsense. I found that drunk pickup works better, but don't drink too much, or you might regret what you've done in the morning. >_>

I wholeheartedly agree!

This one time, my friends and I got to a good solid [9] before sarging. Anyway, we start hitting up bars and we're not having a lot of luck. The girls aren't receptive, nor very attractive, so it looked like our night was going to come to an early end. Just as we're leaving we meet an HB8 who tells us about this jazz club and how her and her friends were going to be there, so we tag along.

We get to the jazz club and all of her friends, all HB8s and HB9s are sitting at a table. She introduces us and we get to chatting. But during the conversation, I'm focused on this one girl across the club. I can see her eyes and it feels like she's staring into my soul. I look back at her for what feels like to be hours; she says nothing, doesn't avert her eyes.

Still high as fuck, I muster all the courage I can to go and talk to her. But instead of talking to her, I just reach out, pick her up, and start walking out the club. The club manager tries to stop me, but I just ignore him. I tell her I'm taking her home with me, so I hail a cab and we get in. I tell the driver to take us back to my place and give him my address, but he has this strange look, as if something wasn't right.

Well, the cab driver was right. We get to my apartment and just as soon as I open the door, it hit me: the girl wasn't a girl at all. She was a photograph. I had picked up a photograph hanging on the wall of the club. The manager was only trying to stop me from taking his wall decorations.

tl;dr: picked up a hot babe at a [9], but no sex, kiss or number
