I'm currently travelin right now (I'm in Santiago del Estero, Argentina also in the middle of a 3 month maybe 4/5 month trip) so I have some answers to your questions.

1) Apparently, argentine girls are the hardest to pick up. You see guys go full out aggressive and go all out at clubs. I'm not entirely sure about girls getting picked up because I didn't really try because the parties start at 2 fucking 30 and I need my sleep. I did make out with a chick in a buenos aires club but that didn't go too far because no habla espanol and I was staying at a 12 bunk hostel lol.

2) People are extremely affectionate here. You see people making out in public and groping each other in public all the time

3) Yes without a doubt. I met so many girls on this trip that I lost count.

4) Yes I go hostel to hostel. If you find a good one with a lot of people, it shouldn't be too difficult to find girls (esp in a big city like buenos aires or santiago). Most single girls I find travel in groups or 2s and/or travel in packs. There are a lot of times I wish I had a wingman. I find a lot of girls traveling with their boyfriends.

To actually hook up with one takes a bit of luck and timing. A girl I really hit it off with that I traveled with for a while has a boyfriend back home. I was flirting with this chilean chick and really hit it off with her except she puked and had to leave the next morning. I met a real cutie this one morning but I was leaving that night...

yea you get the drift. It's stupid easy to meet them, its just about being at the right place at the right time (obviously like cases back home)
