How to always come up with something to say that isn't in the form of a question? Most of the time, all that goes on in my nervous mind is asking something relatively lame, such as "Do you like X" or "what do you think of Y", and then I end up not saying anything and becoming silent with the person beside me for the next 10 minutes hoping someone more extroverted will come help the poor conversation out.

How do you make more friends on a campus setting? I usually invite people to stuff I'm doing throughout the week, club events, and/or get-togethers that I throw. Is that basically it?

How do I deepen friendships that I already have. I go to hangouts, but I don't really feel that I have a strong vibe with some of the people at the hangouts, a lot of the times because they've spent so much more time together than I have with them. For example, they're all in the same major and in the same classes, so a lot of the times they're gossiping about people they know or the classes they're in, and I just can't get into the conversation. I invite them to events I throw, but they don't come because our vibe isn't so weak I feel.

I read the conversational skills section of your website, it was excellent.

I'm on a college campus and I love making new friends and vibing with people. I would say that I'm above average in that area because I have a genuine love of just vibing with people.

However, I know some guys who are freaking awesome with that, a whole nother level. I can't seem to put my finger on the difference between us though. I mean, I can see how they come across as more 'solid' and having a stronger style. But I can't figure out what exactly I can do about that.
