Female here. Throwaway for obvious reasons.

I'm afraid my question is inappropriate, spoils something, maybe misses the point completely. I'm sorry in that case. I'm honestly just looking for advice and if not here - where else?

My story: I had an evil crash & burn for a colleague recently and I learned that he's active on /r/seduction (by peering at his screen at work). My colleague being a rather shy guy, I assume that he uses the seddit resources to learn from and to train himself to become more outgoing. Which is cool, basically. I've skimmed through the resources and I'd be really pleased if he took them to heart (the sex tips most of all - they're wonderfully written :D).

However, I'm also a bit dazed about the whole thing. It is being recommended a lot to fake body language or to boldly lie or to set back communication on seddit. And voilà, here's my problem: I think THIS is exactly what he does. I'm getting extremely mixed signals from him and every day that goes by makes me wanna break down and cry a little more.

I need to get a clue whether he's uninterested and too shy to reject me; or whether he's interested and his tactics (or remaining shyness, in spite of seddit?) won't allow him to proceed. (I'm pretty sure he's already got the point that I'm interested - to get to know him, at least.) Any advice?

UPDATE: Hey braced himself to come over and talk to me today. Out of the blue. Just some smalltalk, but hey - it's a start. No ambiguity, no breaking down and crying anymore. I'm so proud of him. P.S.: I love you guys. You're hot.
