I went to Kobe this weekend to visit a friend (I live about 4 hours away by train) and I decided to hit some bars solo in my downtime.

During the day I was playing a game where I would try to make eye contact with as many girls as possible just walking around on the street and in malls. About half the girls noticed me, most of them would hold contact for about a second and then look away bashfully, but I got a few very nice smiles and eyefucks. This was great for getting in state.

On Saturday, I went to a popular English pub. I approached the first set I saw, a group of three college graduates celebrating their last day of freedom before starting work (school years start in April here). I chatted a bit and moved them to a cozier corner of the bar. Two Japanese guys showed up and unexpectedly winged my targets two friends for me, so I got her alone and started escalating.

Then she dropped it on me. "You seem like a player" and "I bet you have a bunch of other girls in your life". Little does she know I've only ever fucked one girl, but rather than try and convince her otherwise I replied with a wishy-washy "Um, yeah, well, sort of".

After that she pulled away a little, but stayed with me because I was still buying her drinks. After a while, her friends started to get sleepy, so she made motions to leave. I tried to get her number for the hell of it, but was refused. She gave me her e-mail instead, which she apparently mistyped because she was pretty drunk.

After they left, I went to another bar upstairs and opened a few girls when lo and behold, I run into the exact same girl with another guy on her. Her reaction was friendly, but rather than try to pry him off, I decided to go after her friend who I was talking to earlier. Unfortunately, the group as a whole seemed intent on not being taken home, and it was late and most of the girls were taken, so I walked back to my hotel.

What I gathered from this is

Number one: There are some girls who really have no intention of going home with a guy, but will stay with you for the attention and free drinks. In the future I must learn to Identify these more quickly so I don't waste my whole night on them.

Number two: Don't buy a girl more than one or two drinks. Keeping her drunk isn't worth being treated like a vending machine.

Number three: Don't fail shit tests!

Number four: I'm pretty sure I'm escalating physically too fast, and it's throwing off a "give me sex pleeeeaase" vibe.
