I was having dinner with my friend/wing last night, and we were talking about other people's perceptions of me, and it came out that her best friend (also the girl I most recently laid) and her bff's rommate both described me as "way too overconfident and cocky, in a bad way." I'm not concerned about it, as I'm sure her bff is just agitated at me for not wanting to get emotionally involved with her (different story), and her bffs roommate doesn't like me for what amounts to the same reason.

My wing's response was "yeah, you're really confident, and I can see cocky, but not overly so." My thought was that "I'm a baller, so my amount of confidence is not misplaced, if they think I'm overconfident, they don't see my value, so fuck em."

What I'm getting at is; is there a point where you can be too confident it becomes unattractive? Can cocky be a bad thing? And is my thought process fair, healthy, or just arrogant? Just wanted to get some thoughts on this issue.
