Hey guys. So, there's this girl in my class. I met her 3 months ago, and I introduced myself in a flirty, witty way. Since then, she has been giving me very clear IOIs: she constantly bumps into me "accidentally", laughs at my dumb jokes, always moves close to me when we're in a group conversation.

My face is average looking, but I have a good physique with a six pack and I am tall. Yet, I am still incel. And she is really cute, smart, in great shape. I quickly got one-itis for her. I understand that my mindset is completely sub-optimal here, but I cannot control how I feel. Still, I never displayed this and stayed aloof, which is why she remained interested I think.

Anyway, today she was still giving the same IOIs, when I was talking with her and her 2 female friends after class. So, her friends left us alone (I think they know she was into me) so I decided to ask her out. We made small talk for a bit, then I said "hey, let's go out", kinda hesitantly. She replied "uhh... when? Tomorrow? We can't, we have two exams next week". And we just stayed there, staring at the trees and avoiding eye contact, until she left.

This was the first time I asked someone out btw, despite being red pilled for 1 year now. I guess I found out that the reason I'm incel is not a lack of looks or even a lack of social skills (I've become actually quite sociable, I made over 300 friends this past year), but a lack of balls.

Anyway, my main question: is this over? I know that, theoretically, girls who like you won't give excuses, they will just say yes. But like, I wasn't needy or beta, just awkward. Was she really so turned off by this that there's no salvaging it? Could she still be into me? Should I try again? I really like her, I don't want to give up that easily.
