You're over thinking this shit and you're not giving us the right info - what are your interactions like? What is the general vibe when you two talk? You can tell a lot more about a girl through the actual interaction rather than just who initiates the conversation first.

Girls opinions change all the time - I've had a girl reject me, but then I handled the rejection so well that it actually made her attracted to me. Remember, it's not about avoiding rejection, it's about dealing with it in an attractive way. Any way long story short, I found out later that when we were friends she really liked me. At this time I was of course too much of an AFC to realize that girls' opinion's of people change, A LOT more than guys'

I had this sort of issue with the last girl I've been slowly seducing. We were talking everyday for about 2 weeks and then I could feel myself being friend-zoned so I stopped initiating conversation for about 4 days. Then got back in contact and she greeted me with much more appreciation, warmness and flirting. She's actually been away the last 3 days for her brothers 21st so I sent her one text to ask if she arrived safely 2 days ago and then have left her alone. Seems to be working for me if I give her about a half a week of no contact every so often. But, chicks are fucking weird.

Just like an indirect opener is a great tool in the hands of a PUA, so is an indirect re-opener. There are ways to re-open via innocuous texts.

However, if she's let the conversation die once, she'll probably let it die again. If you hook, then move to have a date soon. Girls just take a while to get invested and her investment level won't go up over text or facebook.

I really hate this guy-girl gamesmanship that goes on in this day of texting and Facebook. "Oh, if I don't respond to this text or if I keep giving one-word replies, that'll make them feel they're unimportant to me and it'll ultimately increase attraction." Pathetic.
