Its sounds to me like there is an element of being shy/unsure about the situation with you, too. One thing is that whatever you choose to do, do it because you want to, not cause you feel like you have to, or its the thing you gotta do now. If you arent sure that you want to kiss her, thats gonna come across. Whatever you do, be DEFINITE about it. Show her that you had a good time, and are really attracted to her. If she has a problem with how fast things are going, she can tell you.

Why would you plan ahead to limit your interaction? You should plan to go as far as you're both feeling comfortable with while you're in the situation, not two days ahead of time.

Don't just assume "She's shy, I can't escalate too far." Start with light kino and continually escalate. If you hold hands at some point, a kiss is pretty much guaranteed in my book. Just because she seems shy doesn't mean she isn't interested. She just may not be very comfortable with escalating herself or showing interest. Reading body language is important, but don't take indifference as a negative sign. Lots of girls will "ignore" kino.

They may not be responding with kino or their own or even acknowledge that you're using kino on them, but they know what you're doing. Unless a girl's body language communicates that she's extremely uncomfortable, or she flat out tells you to stop something, there's nothing wrong with touching a girl's leg, back, neck, etc... You'd be surprised how far a girl is willing to let you go, as long as it seems natural. If you haven't even touched her arm yet and you're going in for a kiss, it's not natural. It's all about progression and build up.
