OK, so the background is that the event was something technical, there was a shitload of geeks everywhere, it kinda smelled bad and I saw an Asian girl that I desperately wanted to open, even saw her twice but she was heading in a different direction than me every time. My regret is that I didn't see her again because I was going to open her no matter what.

Ever since I read 60 Days of Challenge, opening has become easier for me. Its just opening. Its not seduction, its social. If you can open a man, you can open a woman. If you can open a woman, you can open a hot woman. However, I don't know about showing interest right off the bat the way Krauser does.

So, I was walking along this corridor that is also a balcony and I saw a pair of the event management girls. One of them was average, one of them was slim and cute. The cute one was walking with a limp. I noticed a bandage on your foot. We made eye contact. I didn't open.

The next time, I was standing at the balcony and texting on my phone. I saw the two of them coming again. I let the average girl pass and opened the cute one with a "Excuse me, I've gotta know... what happened?" while pointing at her foot.

She said that it was an accident. Her friend hung around for a second, and then went away.

I carried the conversation for the next few minutes, being my slightly-animated self. She wasn't very receptive. I could feel it. But I didn't feel any neediness. Maybe it was because I have been talking to this other girl. Maybe its because I didn't really expect anything to come of it. No matter. After a while of talking, I mentally note her uncomfortable body language and ask her if she also has friends working the event. She says yes. I say that maybe its weird that you're talking to a guy alone and your friends are there. Will they tease you when you get back? Here's the interesting thing - she said no, its not a big deal. After that she said she should be getting back.

You know, in the conversation (which was way too dry) she mentioned she was doing her Bachelors at whatever university nearby. Later on I saw a dude from the same event management company running around with a mic. I felt that you know, these are people just like you and me. They're just trying to get by. They probably think so many people at the event are high value since we all have good jobs and are at the event to begin with. In fact, a kernel of thought in my mind which pushed me to approach the girl was that I thought about how many cute girls have a dream of being selected by a high status male while they're working as the hired help. 50 Shades of Grey has that theme, and I've seen other books and movies with that theme too.

One of the things that bugs me is the doubt in my mind about how girls will react to being approached when their friends are around. Like I've mentioned earlier, i'm in a culture with a high level of ASD. Or at least I feel it to be so. Maybe its not such a big deal to be approaching strange girls. My older sister recently told me that she used to go to the mall to flirt with guys when she was in high school. That was 14-15 years ago. Fuck. I felt like such a chode when she mentioned that. All this time I used to think that girls don't want to be approached at the mall or whatever, and they were being approached by, and flirting with, ballsy alphas.

I doubt I'll get anywhere with street game though. Although that's where I see the type of girls I do want to approach, in a couple of locations in the city. Maybe I should just go for it, for the fuck of it, since I can't seem to find those kinds of girls anywhere else? <insert bitching and moaning about being rejected>

Anyway, I naturally didn't push for anything else. However, I didn't take her "I have to go" as a rejection either. When I came out, she was sitting at the registration booth with two other girls. She even kinda avoided my glance. I walked over, and told the other girls to take care of her, with a big smile. Sauntered away. Like a boss. You can't win 'em all.

[tl;dr] I saw a hot girl that I wouldn't have opened even a short while ago, opened her, nothing came of it. No biggie.
