I'm sure this has been brought up in this subreddit, but if you have a smart phone check out Neil Strauss's "A Better Man" app. It has tons of missions and shit just like what you're asking for. It'll start you out with easy things like say hi to 3 people or ask them for the time and it'll work you up to more difficult challenges. I can't say any of the difficult challenges because I haven't unlocked them yet!

This sort of "give me a mission" thing usually doesn't go well. Everyone please be nice.

You're not giving us much to go on. So I'll give you an easy one. Go to some busy coffee shop. If it's not crowded so there's a line waiting for coffee, go back outside and come in again later. Get in line and do a situational opener on someone in front of you or behind you. It doesn't matter who it is, male or female. Just don't lurk around waiting to get in line behind some hot girl, just take your random chances. Open them with something like "I never know what to get. What do you usually pick? What's their best drink?" Or talk to them about it being late evening, you want something without caffeine, but you can never decide. Chat a bit, then eject if you like, or sit down and drink your coffee/tea/soda.

That's a mission so simple, anyone could do it. It's not very pushy, and it's pretty innocent and socially acceptable so it doesn't require a lot of guts to overcome AA..

The best concrete mission I can suggest to you would be to do something to get over self-loathing. If you don't like yourself, why in the hell would anyone else like you?

Go do something you're awesome at. Find some bros, play some games, drink some beers, chill, enjoy life, lift some weights, jog, take a martial arts class, punch some shit, meditate, read some awesome books, listen to some awesome music, go find a local band, become a groupie.

Get out and make your life more awesome. If you're sitting at home wallowing in self-loathing, then that's going to come out in your game. Yes, you could go out to some coffee shop or restaurant and maybe have a good encounter with a woman. But you will have bad encounters. Lots of them. Be prepared for that.

Ok this isn't much but give it a shot. Go to a large store like Wal-Mart. Lots of people shop there including good looking women. Go up to every woman you find attractive and just say hi or ask them if they know where something is. If you want to continue talking from there then go ahead. All that matters is that you go up and say something to them. No pressure involved, you are just working on approaching.
