Saying romantic things doesn't go against seddit. It just has to come from a place of confidence and not from a place of need, and at the right time in a conversation. Saying something romantic at the right time, especially with a bit of kino thrown in can be awesome.

Also everyone has different tactics that can work for them, no one thing is the ultimate answer.

Romantic things are good if you're about to kiss her, or if you're having a deep talk.

You just want to make sure not to sit around and be romantic but not do anything, because most girls will not respond well to that.

You could lose the girl by being yourself OR by using seddit tactics. You'll probably fuck up whatever "tactics" you think you have anyway, so yeah, do whatever you want, learn from your mistakes.

The deal with "romantic input" is that it should be sparse, unexpected, and sincere.

What I usually do, is that I play most of the evening as a sarcastic scoundrel, but put in something romantic just before we part, just to show that under the badboy exterior, there is a great lovin heart. Good example is giving her a long passionate kiss, and looking longingly in her eyes, just before she enters her cab/appartment. Or say, with a serious tone: "stop that, im afraid I'll fall for you" when she is doing something you like, and then PRETEND unconvincingly it was just a joke. Give her a sincere compliment in a way, that it seems it "slipped" out of your mouth unconciously.

Set a frame where women think you are a bad boy, a rogue, maybe even a womaniser with a troubled past, and complicated soul, but if the try hard enough they can CHANGE YOU FOR THE BETTER. Women love this "challenge", its like cocaine to them.

If you are a hopeless romantic, then by all means try it, but I would never suggest doing it over text. It has to be done face-to-face. I also suggest you don't plan ahead what romantic thing to say. Let it be spontaneous and true instead.

People who want to learn seduction usually want to be able to win the girl of their dreams, and to do so means being able to do well with generally all types of women. When you are good enough at picking up a variety of women, you are going to be able to take the liberty of picking and choosing the kind you want. If the kind you want swoons at romantic lines, then by all means use them! If the girl doesn't swoon then hey, you keep movin' on ;)

Just try things out. Perhaps you kill a few potential relationships this way, but in the end you learn what feels natural for you and what works. That being said, you can say extremely romantic things before ever kissing her if you approach it with the right mindset. On the flip side, with the wrong mindset you come off as kind of stalker if you seem super invested before anything ever happens.

If you are looking at the relationship as something you really want and yet you don't know the girl well, that is going to be bad. On the flip side, if you are just commenting on the situation at hand, such as a romantic thing about how she looks or acts, without having that I just met you, dont know you, and really want to be in a long term relationship with you mindset, chances are it will be taken better. A single line isnt going to make or break you, it is the general attitude that will decide everything.

The same holds true for "tactics". It all depends upon the mindset.
