I come from a very traditional household. My dad has only been with one woman, and my mother only two men (my father, and step-father). After a year-and-half long relationship with my ex-girlfriend, I pulled a HB9 and had casual sex which was leading to no where serious. It seemed so unenjoyable even though she was way more attractive and more experienced. I feel as if our parent's relationships worked for so long because of the age old 'ignorance is bliss' ideal. Sexual partners is not as common for them, so they put their partner on a pedastal. This makes them more harder working to salvage their relationship. Now a days relationships are gotten into and out of as common occurances.

I am afraid that sleeping with a lot of women will in some way make my relationship with my eventual wife much less special and more replaceable.
