Just a really quick post:

Been eying some girl for a while at school and she's been giving me eye contact as well. I have this thing that when I see a girl I really like and don't approach her right away I start to idealize her and get AA.(I'm 18, she's 16/17)

I finally manned up today and just walked up when she was with a friend: (I read about this approach on HighSeddit)

Hey, what's your name? xxx Cool, I'm Anon. You're pretty cute. [she blushes] See ya later

I turned around and left, but I could hear them laughing/giggling. I don't know if I did something stupid, or if it's normal for 16 year old girls to react this way.
