It may be any of the following: - not confident - bland personalities - they might think you look boring ( you say you dress well but that all depends on the perspective of the girl ) - too quiet and a sense of uncertainty in your voice - or you could just not be their type, simple as that

Stop focusing on looks if you're a guy and start working on increasing your status. That's what women are more attracted to.

I've got a friend that's a former male model and currently a doctor. He pulls hot women on a daily basis, but I've seen him get shut down hard as well. You can't be succesfull 100% of the time.

There was a post on the OKCupid blog where women on the site voted 80% of men as below average looking.

As for practical advice: read the sidebar. Welcome to the world of seduction.

Looks do matter, but not very much. A guy with good game will beat an attractive nerd. You guys probably just lack game.

The bar is a very different place from everywhere else you go. I'm decent at seducing women on the street, in cafes, on dates. I suck at night game.
