Like the title says, please help. A little background. I am a junior in college, and am at this point about the loneliest I have ever been. My social circle is comprised of my roommate and his friends. They knew each other from the previous year and are all best friends. I am treated as a casual friend to them and nothing more. I am left hanging at every turn, and ignored constantly. I strive to be their friends and try to do nice things to get them to like me, but this gets me nowhere.

The same goes for about everyone at this school. This happened at the last school I went to. I am somehow always treated as a friend on the fringe. Someone you know and is part of "the gang" but the one who will be left behind if need be. This is killing me mentally. What is wrong with me, how do I always get put in this position?

I only have a few goals in life, to be funny, well liked, and adored by women. I do comedy, and I think I'm pretty good, but tonight got to me. After a night of bad jokes, and a silent audience I broke down. Finally realizing that I am not the person who I thought I was. I'm not funny, people tend to dislike me for some reason, and I haven't been with a girl in several months.

I usually always have a good disposition, a smile on, and walk with an ere of confidence. But I'm finding this harder to keep up considering.

I come to you guys for help. I've been in the game for a while, but for lack of a better term have only been wading around in the shallow end. I know you guys can help, and I'm begging for some. Any advice on how to make a better impression on people, something, anything. I just can't keep going on like this. If there's anyone out there, who wants to help, take me under their wing, I want to learn.
