Seddit, how many of you have taken boot camps? Care to share your experiences?

I've been trained by four coaches and each time has been a life-changing experience.

I've done coaching with Chase Amante twice, a full weekend on a bootcamp with RedpoleQ, then later with Kane Vast, and finally with Artisan. To me, each time it was worth every penny; it developed my arsenal of tools for socializing and pick-up, in addition to heightening my awareness of social situations and my my own sticking points. Moreover, each coaching session cut years off my learning curve. Time is fucking precious. I cannot recommend coaching strongly enough for guys who are ambitious and serious about their dating lives.

After the coaching sessions, the coaches will typically invite you to join their closed fora, where other guys who were ambitious enough to sign up for training write field reports to continue their development. These are the guys you should listen to, because they are serious about what they are doing to the extent that they will pay money to achieve their goals. Make no mistake, but Seddit is super mainstream. I don't post FRs here anymore since people tend to give bad advice and be very judgemental.

I strongly disagree with Zaiton. If you're a beginner and don't know what you're doing, if you then give your wing 1000 Dollars and just approach 100 girls, and then expect to get the same out of that as from a bootcamp with a professional dating coach.... well, then something is wrong. Training with a good coach will be tailor-made to you, and you'll be getting live feedback from a guy who knows what he's doing and what actually works and who has trained, possibly, hundreds of guys already. This type of coach will be able to answer any question you may have. I doubt that Zaiton did any coaching himself - sorry man, I'm not writing this to annoy you or put you down, just disagreeing with you.

I went to Adam Lyon's bootcamp, I can definitely recommend it, and if you can see through a lot of the marketing, and you put in the effort, it's well worthwhile, it's more of an investment, than it is just a course. I'll explain as I go. To answer your questions... He briefly mentioned towards the end that the bootcamp is more designed to make you "Not bad", rather than "good". This is about breaking habbits, and developing good ones.

Months after the bootcamp I was obsessed. I dropped everything else in my life and started making insane connections and relatively strong successes. Since I've developed a great lifestyle, albeit a more balanced one.

I did the bootcamp alone (ie. didn't drag anyone with).

It answered a lot of the questions I did have, it helped me figure out which side of the fence I should/could stand on, and it really opened up new worlds for the principals of human communications.

The bootcamp is about $1,300 USD, which comparably ISN'T that bad seeing as the last I heard Mystery is still charging $5000.

Overall I would recommend it, as it has been a great resource for me, and it really has changed the way I live for the better. Overall, I walked away with an enormous positive in my life, and I don't have any regrets what so ever taking the bootcamp.

EDIT: I forgot to answer my own question I created. Figurative investment: time+Money=valuable social skills your friends,teachers, parents likely didn't teach you. Physical investment: unlimited free attendance to as many bootcamps as you want.

All questions seconded, I've often run across these so-called PUA extraordinaires and the seminars/camps they oeddle and have always wondered whether or not they're worth their salt. I myself have never had any interest in actually going to one, but I could see the benefits (of being with a master out in the field, etc.) however, I'm leaning more towards it being a load of snake oil.

I haven't been to one, but I would love to go to one by Social Fluency or Art of Charm based upon the fact that they like teaching more than just seduction. I think learning how to better hone all social skills is a better time with money well spent, than simply learning to pick up women.

I think you gain a lot of confidence basically because your money is on the line. Whereas the same thing could be achieveable by giving your friend 800-1000$ and saying "If i haven't approached 100 women within 2 months it's yours"
