Hate to burst your bubble(not really lol), but your emotions can be and are easily manipulated. The only reason you don't think they can be is because no one has been interested in what you have enough to get something they want from your forcefully. Sorry bud

"Their emotions can be manipulated". It is highly documented that humans respond very well to emotional stimuli. So called pathos, isn't it quite pathetic that most of us prefer films where, at least for a plot to take place, some faults and shortcomings must be put in? Why don't you, instead of coming to seddit, go to SAGE? JSTOR? Surely it is quite a bigger challenge to go trough academic papers but there is just a thing about this, site, this method of communication. Why am I being so informal? Why does the text speak to you and not to the facts? What brought you here? "Do you want a significant other? Outright carnal pleasure? We can help!" What is the thrill of reading something, if not for the chase.

"A human is autonomous, therefore they are subhuman." Humans are social creatures; we are also quite flawed and limited. Did you build, programmed and configured the computer you are using? I bet you there is not a single person that can create from scratch and on his own a computer that can compete with today's standards. Including the mining and refinement of the materials involved and the machinery used to extract them and to build said machinery. There are many, many, many things we must take for given.

While it is true that ideally, everyone should be at least capable of being independent and without excuse having their own character. I must mark out that you didn't even gave it that much thought. As of your title, both genders have less than exemplary specimens, avoid the generalization and as your attitude goes, if you don't like it why not change it?

Show them a better way; shut up and listen to what they say and offer them help. Don't shove your ideals into them, just let them grow into them. Learn some standup comedy and be the funny guy with the witty comments on today's society.

Hell, why not treat them as friends and equals instead of as subpars?
