go exploring. find a roof of a building that's accessible and take her up there to talk and eat..or make out 2.show her one of your favorite places. she'll think it's sweet too 3.get on a bus and let her pick when to get off. or have her pick a number before you get to the bus stop, and tell her that's the number of stops you'll sit before getting off

What part of the country do you live in? Outdoor activities are usually inexpensive and, if you can find something fun to do, memorable.

If this is a first date, I wouldn't recommend the whole "just come over to my place" thing. Women frequently view that as kind of lazy and, if you don't already know her fairly well, a potentially dangerous situation. You can always take her back there after your date.

Stargazing is free. I was a summer camp counselor, so I have an advantage on knowing my shit, but spend some time on Google and download SkyMap for your phone and make it an evening. Shit is romantic and rare for people to do. This is one of my free go-tos for cheap dates.

You mentioned that quad on your campus, do it up. Bring a blanket, maybe some hot chocolate. Make sure you look up some stories that go with the constellations too. Looking at the stars is nice, but being able to tell the stories behind them is even more unique and it will show her that you are interesting and entertaining.
