So basically, i've given up on commodifying women based on quality, and instead consider whether I'm attracted to her or not (binary; either 1 or 0). This helps me take personality into consideration by a lot. I'll be chatting with a girl who I'm not entirely attracted and I'll be wondering the same thing many girls wonder, "am I into them? i'm on the fence."

However, where I kind of diverge is that if I'm attracted to them, I find myself very very very subtlely qualifying to them. like almost in my head. also, because I ask for the numbers of girls i'm attracted to and do not ask for the numbers of girls i'm not attracted to, there is a difference in how i treat them right there. so i guess in that sense, i'm conveying to them that i am indeed attracted/interested in them, because if i wasn't, i wouldn't ask for their number.

Read stuff by Mark Manson and other PUA material that stresses philosophy far more than technique.

Not yet said is social proof. Use of pivots and other women around is key. If you can get friendzoned by a couple 9's and go out with one or two of them your odds increase dramatically.

Part of gaming girls that are 9s or 10s is not falling into the traps that other guys do. You don't want to compliment them a lot, particularly on their looks. They've heard it all a thousand times. They'll have a lot of shit tests, but the best way to deal with them is just to ignore them. Don't even waste time trying to find an "alpha" way to answer them. Make sure you lead the interaction. You don't want to be the asshole hovering around her while she does her own thing.

Did you read the Mystery Method in detail? Apparently not. MM was developed specifically for seducing high-end women. If you want to seduce 9s and 10s, you will have to behave like a guy that is capable of seducing 9s and 10s. MM is all about that.

First step would be for you to quit thinking about these things in terms of "calibur" or "level".

Second step might be for you to start thinking about relating to women like they are people, not "women of varying levels". Pay attention to the situation you are in at that moment. Pay attention to her. Pay attention to what she says. Pay attention to everything and you'll have enough information to open and "game" women regardless of outward appearance.

People who are better than me can probably give better advice, but all I can say is that in my opinion this is just always gonna be tough, maybe impossible for most guys.

In America especially, something like 60% of girls are overweight. This means that fit girls in the 6-10 range are relatively much more attractive than they'd be if we didn't have such a nationwide weight problem. In turn, this means that girls at the high end of the scale go from being interested in only really attractive guys, to being only interested in INSANELY attractive guys. A 9 or 10 is probably getting her phone blown up by athletes, club promoters, locally-famous musicians, or what have you.

It sucks but I am tempted to say you really can't compete on even footing unless you have the social status boost these dudes are working with. I'm sure it can still be done but my opinion is there's gonna have to be an element of luck involved if you don't start with MASSIVE social proof.

I'd love to hear some rebuttals of my opinion though.

You're putting numbers on people, labeling. That's just silly. Treat everyone equally. Since you see others as better or worse than you, you're always going to feel above or below your potential mate. Get over superficial BS.

Being interesting and well spoken is useful if you want to get their attention . But what is your interest? ONS or FWB or dating or relationship?

10's are by definition a different species and require a certain level of exaggeration regarding all your interactions. In most cases they have a wildly inflated ego and you need to not play into it at all. I see a 9 at a bar and I go talk to her. I see a 10 at a bar and I go up and I say something like "Wow you really now how to overdress for an occasion." You need to use just the right level of cocky/funny. Alternatively I use "You must be a model right, you're hands are incredible. They're on the the box of twinkies, I'd swear it." Any time you can work hand model or part-time model in with 10's you are off to a good start. See my historical post about my interactions and subsequent closing with a 10 (the wine bar game).

6-9 and below are all the same, just regular old game. Girls that think they are hotter than they actually are, that's a specialty as well. Generally not worth your time.
