I have really great furniture, solid oak with black leather trim and brass studs. It's very manly. I once told a girl "you'd look great tied up on my headboard." She tore her clothes off, hopped on the bed, leaned back against the headboard and said "ok!"

Anyway, you should have a conversation piece, some object with an interesting story. I have a lacquerware box I bought in Japan. You should also have a big candle, and some means of playing music instantly. I mean it, instantly. Nothing kills her mood quicker than you spending 2 minutes looking for the right playlist on your iPod. I have a spare iPod hooked up to speakers, with a playlist already queued up. I practiced, I can get it playing in under 3 seconds.

One useful tip: give the girl a grand tour when you arrive, but take her in and out of the bedroom quickly. She will probably give resist if you try to get her into the bedroom right away. But if you take her there the second time, it already seems familiar and you get less resistance.

Keep your bed linens clean and odorless. I just heard a nice tip, which I realized I've done with great success. If she sits on your bed, you say something like, "hey no dirty street clothes on my nice clean bed. Get those off and I'll give you a clean T Shirt or something. I promise I won't look." And then you put your hands over your eyes and pretend not to look, and she sees you pretending not to look. LOL.

My favorite version of this:

I was fooling around with this girl on her couch (met online, had ice cream, she was cute and cool, went back to her place), and I was fingering her (her pants were still on). It was a pretty awkward position and I couldn't do much with my hands, so I said "I need more room", as in I need more room to do my thing. She looks at me and says "You need to go to my bedroom?" I was like "Yeah that's exactly what I said..."

Sometimes it just falls into your lap.

Honestly, I use sex as my reason. We always seemed to end up fooling around on the couch while watching a movie or what have you, at which point I would say "We should move this somewhere more private before my roommates come home." I'm a bit of a different case though, I always ended up fooling around before my room even entered the picture. At that point it was easy.

Unless she's socially stunted, she knows going to your room means intimacy.

I asked myself this in college (nearly 10 years ago), the truth is, your room is not going to be what gets them there.

I read your post and literally fell back in time, remembered looking at my roommates rooms, hearing stories "I told her XYZ etc." and I thought that I needed something amazing to show her, that just wasn't true.

Here are two examples to prove it:

1) Your room is the most amazing place ever, you have a piece of the moon in a glass case which you can show her.

2) Your room sucks, but you followed the side bar all night and you built attraction properly.

--- Both of those options will get her to your room, unfortunately only one of them will get you laid.

Look, here's the deal, any pretense to get a girl into your room is golden, and despite what NotAnother says, is actually necessary. She knows it's going down, you know it's going down, but you still have to leave some mystery to it.

My bedroom is lacking hard.

What do you guys keep in your room in order to comfortably lead girls there?

Just a quick question..... do you live alone? Is there any reason why you couldn't start in the living room and just get her to the bedroom after things heat up?

p.s. Don't forget to have condoms in convenient places in your bedroom (and near the couch, if that's a place you can get it on). It greases the wheels to have them available so that you don't have to fumble around for them when you need them.

You really don't need a 'thing'. You're just creating a crutch so that you don't have to ask her if she wants to have sex directly.

My room I'm moving out of soon is awful, it's plain, it's boring, half the time there's clothes out (not unfolded, just a lack of space), there's nothing in here but my bed and clothes, I spend all my time in the living room.

My thing to show them is my duvet, because it's actually super warm, and as I live in England, it's basically always cold by sex o'clock (well, first time anyway). I generally either bring it out to the living room if we're alone, or say we should go warm up in my room if we aren't. No girl has ever turned down trying out my duvet.

If you honestly still think it has ANYTHING to do with the duvet, buy a warm blanket, but I promise you, if a girl wants to go into your room, she just needs any excuse, it doesn't have to be a good one. Most don't even need the excuse, if she's at your house and she still needs convincing to have sex with you, you've got different problems to solve.

The one thing I would say though, is invest some time in making a decent playlist. Music is good and nobody looks cool fumbling for a good song at 3am.
