Make sure your own profile is completely top notch. No half measures. You've got to impress in the first message, thats all I know..

To get an idea what women deal with, you may want to make a fake female account. I did that once and got 11 messages within the first hour and I hadn't even put up a picture. All the messages are creepy or 'hey how are u' so imagine what it's like after a few days of not checking if she has a flattering picture! It's like if there was 1 hb9 at a club full of guys - she knows everyone will approach so she can cherry pick. Honestly work on the real life pickup thing..

Most useful, in my experience, was putting the banter on my profile. Everyone else's profiles are so boring! We all like hanging out with friends or watching movies. Instead, I have people message me about my interests, like ukulele or swing dancing. They're things I love that are kinda unique.

I have a lot of success by just finding something interesting on their profile and making a comment or asking a question about it. Does she like your favorite author? Ask which book of his is her favorite? Does she have cool pictures from her travels? Ask which one was the most exciting.

I get a good response rate doing this, and it's not hard. If you can't find anything interesting on her profile, then don't waste your time. Sure, she might be hot, but you'll be bored as hell around her.
