Are you talking about estimating age prior to opening or after? (If after, what's a standard opener you might have used?) Noisy environment or quiet?

As a general answer, it sounds like you're looking for indications of a certain age threshold, not necessarily a precise age. I generally have a hard time with physical attributes, so things I keep an eye out for (most useful first):

What's on her key chain? Is it on a college lanyard or does it have a collegiate key fob? Does she have a dorm-style key or a house key? Does she have car keys? (If they're not attached to her house keys, maybe she's not the sole driver of the car. Does the manufacturer match the income-level vibe you're getting? If not, maybe it belongs to her parents.) Does she have an RSA SecurID? (Probably has a real job.) Does she have one of those plastic grocery store member program barcode things? (Probably does her own grocery shopping.)
What's in her wallet? (Most applicable somewhere like a bar where she might get carded or have to open a tab.) Is there a school/college/corporate ID visible when she takes out her driver's license? Does she have a bunch of credit cards? Does she have business cards tucked in there somewhere?
Does she act local? (In my experience, girls visiting from out-of-town are more likely to be at least college aged; grade school girls don't have a lot of out of town friends and don't get permission to travel without family.)
Does she have multiple stamps/wrist bands? If she's been to a few bars this evening, I think it's less likely her ID is fake.
Is she wearing a class ring? A hand-made "friendship anklet"? These sorts of things may indicate youth.
Is she with a group that seems to be very close in age? (It seems like older people have friends from a wider age range.)
