First FR so please bear with me! Meet a girl at Chick-Fil-A. 10/10 working as dining room host. I was working on AA and approached with a canned line, "Hey my friends and I were in a heated debate about who lies more, men or women." Blah blah blah skip to end of silly conversation and say "oh well thanks for your input!" This was about two weeks ago. I didn't expect anything so I moved on although I probably could have number closed that day. Skip two weeks ahead I stop in for a grilled sandwich (lol) and saw her again. I approached her and said "Hey how have you been?" blah blah being sure to keep good eye contact. We went into normal conversation and got on schools and she told me how she was planning to attend a college about 2-3 hours away. We talked about our excitement for college and plans for majors and then she had to get back to work. The conversation lasted only a few moments and then I left before seeing her again.

This is where it gets a little strange.. Later the same day I was with some friends and one brought up going to chick-fil-a again and normally I would have said no, but I wanted to see that girl again so I went along. I saw her there and joked, "I just can't get enough of this place." and made her laugh. Other then that we hung out and as I was leaving I walked to the door and held out my phone. AA to the max, but luckily she helped me out by walking towards the door to start cleaning something. I walked up and isolated her by facing her back to the cashiers and said "Hey I need your number, but we gotta be discrete because I used to work here and that could get awkward fast." (not a lie) She laughed and asked why I need her number and I replied simply "I'll tell you later" My first PROBLEM was not making enough eye contact at this moment. I started to get very nervous and my exit was a little rough because I couldn't find my friends and walked out looking like a confused deer.

I'm happy because it took a lot of recently built self esteem to go for it and I get the number, but the problem is now what do I do with a number close? She's obviously interested because she returned my text, but how do I go about escalating a girl that will probably only be in town for another month or less? I can't ODL because she's too beautiful and I'm quite intimidated. It's like I bit off more then I can chew on this one.

Any advice appreciated!
