Helped two of my own friends as well, here's a step by step process of what i did to guide them and help them out.

Introduce them to the reading material (in this case you've completed the step). Also tell them a cool line when you're getting them started on their journey (this is mostly for self amusement). Something along the lines of: "I'm going to help you rediscover your manhood."

Sometimes it isn't easy for people to switch up their fashion sense and hairstyle, since they're so accustomed to it. I had to physically take them myself to the mall and pick out proper clothing for them. I think it's best you do the same, assure you're buddy that his chances of building attraction increase greatly if they look more approachable. Also choose your friend's hairstyle, make sure it looks good on him! It also wouldn't hurt to tell him that it's a good idea to hit the gym up, your sexual market value increases with a more desirable body.
I like to focus on outer game a lot, teach him the importance of proper body language. 93% of actual communication is sub communication through body language, so confident body language is a must. Teach him how to speak to women attractively and confidently (talking clear, pausing for affect). As well as the importance of proper eye contact.
Help them with their inner game issues, give him some examples of a proper mindset to use and teach them that women aren't as scary as they think. Teach him he can get women if he sets his mind to it and that bad boys aren't the only ones that can get girls. Do some fun little drills and have them go up and approach different girls and start a conversation (not necessarily to build attraction, but to help get over their fear of approaching women).
Set him out to actually go and approach women to build attraction, this is when you feel he is ready to do so. Watch over him from a distance, pay attention to his and her's body language to see if the approach is going well. Have him review each approach he did and give him some pointers on things he has to work on and what to do to improve the next time around.
Continue teaching him, you also don't have to have him approach a girl every single time. if you have a friend whose a girl you can set you're guy friend up to meet her. Have him update you on his progress each time you hang out and guide him throughout his path of enlightenment.

Keep it simple. If you overload him, you'll make him feel overwhelmed.

1.) Get him basic information on health/fitness and fashion. My personal diet is more complicated than the one I give my clients, because you don't want them spending too much time thinking about it. Clear simple rules are best (to avoid ego depletion)

2.) Give him a basic framework to work with, something like the standard Approach, Transition, Attract, Quality, Comfort, Seduction. This is super helpful for new guys, because it lets them identify where they are screwing up. This is HUGE for helping guys not feel lost when interactions don't go their way.

3.) Teach him to have a learner's mindset. This is massively important. He needs to know it's going to be a process, that rejection is okay (in fact it's GOOD) because it's helpful feedback, and to release the outcome

4.) Work on only a few things at a time. Celebrate small victories together. This goes back to not overwhelming him.

5.) If you're good, let him watch you, then explain why you did or said the things you did / said. I've found this is an incredibly effective tool. A lot of guys have never seen someone really really good, and doing it right + explaining it after goes a long way towards helping them understand it.

Good luck man! You're doing a good deed, it isn't always fun, but if you can make it happen you'll have changed his life forever.
