Oftentimes, when dealing with a target, I feel like I have to do everything in my power to get as far with the target as possible. However, recently I've been thinking that this is hindering me. Which I think develops a neediness in me. In a situation where a target won't respond back to text or call, rather than let it go and move on, I'll keep pushing. I'll wait a few days then try again. Oftentimes, the last text is a very forward sort of a crash and burn. A last ditch effort to save a dying patient if you will. Where I know the set is dead if I don't do anything, so I perform an emergency department thorocotomy so to speak. 98% of the time the patient dies. But this makes me wonder, should I even bother going through that when i know the end is death of the set is imminent?

Example: I text a target, she responds lightly with short phrases. I call her. She doesn't pick up. At this point, I'm 99.9% sure the set is dead so I perform a last dtich effort to save it with this little number, "Ugh, pickup your phone you slut!, I was gonna tell you how hard my cock is for you" . Needless to say no response.

So seddit, do I perform an Emergency Department Thorocotomy, or do I just let the set die?
