My guess (without knowing your area, or what works for women in that area) it's the fact that you are not trying. I doubt you'll trip the 'this guy is chatting me up' detector as you're obviously just out doing what you love and not trying to impress women.

Adrenaline. Too tired to give a fuck. When you're tired, you're resting up and your leftover energy is spent on conservation. You're not overthinking situations.

When you say that you have trouble attracting women, I take it as this: When you're out in a social environment, you're probably thinking about how you can interact with pretty females. That gives off a vibe that says, "Hey ladies, I'm on the hunt." People can usually sense that. People that generally have success with pickup are those that are in an environment and embracing everything. They walk into a bar, and people sense that these guys have status.

Don't overlook the power that physical activity can have as a demonstration of high value. Perfect physique or not, it shows that you have an interest in something outside of your apartment and that you actively pursue it, be it as a means of self-improvement or just as a means of having fun.
