Please forgive me for being completely clueless but I am not understanding why it is that we have to get together and come up with schemes and plans and ideas to become more comfortable around women and for women to become attracted to us and want to be with us.

We've shared this planet with women for millions of years. What has happened in our recent generations that has created a shift between men and women? Where men are having to congregate online and discuss ways they can get women attracted to them? Why isn't this hard wired or at least easier to understand and implement.

Who is making this difficult? Women or men? Again, please forgive my naivity but after reading another post on how a guy couldn't get the F-Close and reading a response on how he should have coerced the girl away from her friend in order for him to succeed, I don't know. I feel like finding someone we like, falling in love, spending the rest of our life with someone else shouldn't be this difficult but it is.

I'm not saying it isn't at all or that may we just have it all wrong. I'm just wondering, why we have to do this. Why aren't things simple?

I'm sure the answer this question can be found deep within the thesis of a Psychology dissertation but I'm also looking for responses that are beyond science and possibly deal with the philosophy of the dynamic between man and woman.

TL;DR - I don't understand why it's so much work to seduce and be happy with the opposite sex. Do you guys think similarly?
