As a man you are supposed to be their sanctuary. You have to provide and make them feel comfortable. This can only be done if you are an “alpha” (I don’t personally like this term).

You have to genuinely be trying to help her when she is actually in need for help, not just being childish.

I know Redpill talks about AWALT, but some situations you have to realize they are human beings that are going through hard times too, my dad told me this, “You have to realize that everybody has something that is bothering them, don’t matter if they are rich or poor”. Just remember to realize which situations actually require your attention and which ones don’t.

Life is about balance. Too Alpha is not Alpha. Get too much into it and you may pass for someone rude, ignoring her, selfish and self-centered.

On the other hand, yeah, some girls at some point in their life, crave for the geeky guy, because they had bad experiences with other "Alphas"

I am in no way someone who views himself as an alpha male. I have some traits that TRP identifies as alpha traits, but I have a lot of beta traits as well that are still very much part of my personality.

Just yesterday my girlfriend got drunk with her friends and I texted her to come by to get some dick. I guess she got too emotional from it and it sparked an ongoing discussion that phased into today, which discussed some other things and oddly didn't touch on any of the things she said yesterday.

She used the following words to voice her grievances: vain (from obsessing over bodybuilding -- admittedly, I've developed body dysmorphia and if I see myself in the mirror in bad lighting say in my bathroom, I will seek opportunities to view myself in good lighting to validate my progress), condescending (in how I speak to her sometimes), dismissive (in how I deal with issues she brings up), asshole, alpha, superior complex

Obviously I took some of this as a pat on the back to how I was doing, because going through my day to day life, after taking TRP, some of these traits are traits I authentically desire... sometimes.

Maybe I overdid it, but I authentically wouldn't know. I've always had some asshole game to me. I like to tease. I like to push more than pull.

From our discussion today she mentioned how she views herself as inferior. I knew this, because I know she has some self esteem issues that she is working towards fixing. She said she doesn't know why I'm with her because there are girls better than her out there, and she knows that there are girls who are interested in me.

Alpha and beta are just a spectrum of behavior, doesn’t mean one is inherently perfect or that women will always submit to the most ultra badass dark triad alpha male against their best interests.

You want to be as Alpha as possible in some ways and not in others. You don't want to be Beta at all in some ways but others are fine. Being needy is beta--never be needy. On the other hand, compliments are beta--I use them to reward good behavior. Alpha-wise, being unemotional is alpha. You don't want to be completely unemotional, though. You need a human connection, at times. Just let her in a little. On the other hand, if you're crying because you lost your job, you're a little beta faggot. I've cried in front of my LTR, but only two times: once when I told her something really bad that once happened to me as a kid (completely reasonable) and one time when we were forced to be a LDR for a couple months for college summer and I didn't think I'd see her again (I said as much--I don't believe in LDRs, so I assumed it to be the end. And she was pretty cool, so that was sad). The second time was just a couple tears, but she noticed. But the catch is, I do a lot of Alpha shit (like the fact we're in a one-way open relationship and she knows I fuck girls semi-regularly) so I can get away with the Beta shit and it just makes her feel like I value her because she knows I'm nearly 100% stoic in day-to-day life. If I didn't do the beta emotional connection type stuff, she wouldn't still be around after two years. But I do, and I also do the Alpha stuff, so she's both around and fucks me regularly and does threesomes and lets me fuck other girls on my own. So yeah, I would say both are important.
