By meeting and going out with other women.
You don't need to tell her about this, but if you just sit around pining for her you're going to become incredibly unattractive. If you're out having fun, then that will come through when you do talk to her.

No idea, I have found that long distance flings rarely work.

How can I keep the attraction going between now and Christmas?
Don't do anything. She's not going to forget you. Are you going to forget her?

If you're worried about keeping her interested, you have the wrong mindset. (Scarcity mindset)
Instead, you should be excited to have a hell of a lot of fun over Christmas... and give her the gift of missing you. (Thanks D.D.)

Dude, I have the same thing going on. I'm just trying not to get to attached to the one girl and enjoy some of the women on campus. That being said, I can't wait for winter break. Try not to saturate her with text...one thing you an do is maybe not text her but mail a letter telling her how awesome your college life is and you miss her. Tell her you wish she was at the awesome party you attended ...there were beautiful men and women..blah blah blah

Are you guys a couple or "just" dating? If you want to be exclusive, I don't know why those guys below tell you to go out with other women, that's retarded if you want a relationship. Instead, you need to fill out your life while she's gone. If she IS your life you're going to get needy because once she's gone, you have nothing left. Keep your ambitions high, work on your hobbies, go out with your friends, do a lot of fun fucking shit. Then you'll also have a lot of great stories to tell your partner once you finally get back together (or on the phone when you call each other at 1am next Saturday).
Remember, a lot of relationships work completely without advice from friends. If you get into the mindset that you can't make mistakes, you're already on your way to becoming a brainwashed robot. If you take chances, you make mistakes. If you don't take chances, you won't get anything in life. The choice is yours. Now stop caring so much! Have fun with your new partner and embrace missing her - a lot!
