I've had absolutely terrible luck with online-dating (okcupid and plentyoffish). The response rate is about 15% but actual conversion to dates is like 1%. And then when I meet them in real life, they're usually much bigger than in their pictures.

I know I need to get out there and meet girls in real life, but I feel like I can cast such a wide net online that eventually I'll catch a good one? It's such a disheartening process though. Maybe I should try some other sites?
