What kind of picture should I use on Tinder? Not getting too many matches, would a selfie be acceptable?

Seriously, use a timer on your camera. Yes, a picture of yourself is fine, but not a 'selfie' where you are freaking holding the camera in your hand, that's lame as shit.

Stop a random girl in the street and get her to take a decent picture. You then get an easy opener right there, as well as a decent picture! You could use that opener as many times as you like.......plus it displays you are 1. not hitting on her. 2. the type of guy who is looking for dates! This is good!

I've been waiting until my beard is at optimal awesome levels to take a new profile picture myself. My old one is a picture of me looking angry at the beach taken 5-6 years ago when I had more hair (no time to get haircuts on vacation!) and less beard but it seems to score pretty decent!.

Tinder is by definition a very superficial app, if you're not above average in attractiveness you won't have much success.

Nevertheless, what I do on tinder is just hit yes for every girl, and then weed out the girls I don't like from the matches that I get. Saves time and you get more matches.
