My argument with Tinder, and why I would consider it "anti-seduction" would be this: it's a superficial app, and your chances of success are tied in how attractive you/your photo looks

We would never suggest "just look better" in /r/seduction (beyond the usual "go to the gym" and "wear better clothes", which is a bare-minimum expectation at this point), so I would never put Tinder high on the totem pole of what it means to be good at seduction

Wait a sec... wtf is this article talking about? Isn't Tinder about HOOKUPS and not mid to long-term dating...?

I could have sworn Tinder was intended to be Grindr for heterosexuals.

Of course it's not going to foster true love, if you go to Tinder for anything more than casual dating or hookups, you're an idiot... and unfortunately, most women on there are idiots who don't understand this (can't speak for the men because they don't show up for me!)

Tinder is inherently anti seduction because you never have to do the scariest part: approach. It's nice to play around with when you're in a new city, but finding a woman that you think is high quality will probably never happen with Tinder.

I have to disagree with the whole "anti-seduction" tag that's placed on Tinder. Sure, it's online and you don't approach IRL, but you still have to seduce the woman. As we know, communicating remotely can only build up so much attraction.

Once you meet the girl in the coffee shop/bar/whatever, all the online talk goes out the window and you have to rely on face-to-face interaction. No matter what "clever" message you sent to her, the first few minutes of actually meeting her is gonna determine what happens next.

I thought seduction was about the best and easiest ways to attract women?

I feel like as a guy this is exactly how we choose people at first. Women are slightly less into the looks as we are.
