No I'm not suggesting that unless your looking for some PUA Jedi mind trick. You're better off doing the following:

Establish who you are / what inspires you, what are your dreams.
Find out who might possibly loosely fit the profile (oh and make it stuff like she is kind, fun, adventurous not the physical she has big boobs & make sure what you write matches from #1) . Make a list of 10 names from ALL your social circles that may match up cross out all your interests that don't even come close.
Be vulnerable invite your "interest" to tag along while do something (lunch, or something from #1).
This part is awesome if she says NO cool you haven't lost anything pat yourself on the back for facing your fears. if she says YES than go out and get to know each other. Then honestly assess if she even comes close to matching #2. If both of you want to pursue things great if not great go to the next name on the list from #2. When you get better at #4 you can and should see multiple girls at once BUT be clear you're just getting to know them and that you are not exclusive (and I really wouldn't suggest having sex unltilyour exclusive).

Rinse and repeat. Once you get a rhythm it really won't matter you will be pursuing your life purpose without attachment to outcome. This is very empowering and YOU CAN NOT LOSE. Oh and guess what you're going to make mistakes and feel like a looser BUT I guarantee you will be happier as you learn grown and Chang through your mistakes.

Oh and when you finally do land that lucky chick don't loose touch with #1
