You don't "fight off" competition. You make yourself look attractive so that she gravitates to you, not vice versa.

Also, these vague questions aren't going to get you much help.

Be direct with her and don't place her on a pedestal (too late for that I suppose). I'm pretty sure most of the guys orbiting around her are supplicating chodes who can't make a move. So do what they can't do and step it up.

If you are in a situation where she is with her orbiters in a social environment, engage the guys. Give them value. You'll come off as cool guy in front her and the group will like you. If they are being douchey, just ignore them as they will only make themselves look stupid.

basically what everyone else is saying, but if your focusing on chasing guys away from women your too scared to pick up yourself, your making things worse for you, other men, and the women.
