She's not interested, but sometimes persistence pays off. Cool off, and give her space for a week, and then just invite her to wherever you're going. Also, convey some fun in your message. It sounds like your texting style lacks tone, and women take that as a sign of boringness. No one likes boring people. For example, "I'm going downtown tomorrow night. You should too."="About to tear it up dt tomorrow night! Be there fool!"

Yea, its over the top, but it conveys personality, and she's more likely to come out.

If she's into you, you asking her out twice isn't going to blow the deal buddy. It sounds like she isn't into hanging out & the only thing you can do is drop it.

We only see things from our perspective. Your interest level is high, but you didn't increase her interest level high enough. It's like I tell people about having sex with me, the best 2 minutes of my night are going to be the worst 2 minutes of hers ;-)

Ok, so the r/seduction gospel is that when you invite girls out you should make it very nonchalant, like you were just going to be there anyway, blah blah blah. But saying something like "you should too" almost seems too uninterested for me. For a first hang out, I would give her something more substantive, like "hey would you like to come drinking with me and my friends downtown tonight"?

If a girl flakes, I like to send her a text saying something like "looks like you're not interested, moving on" (not in those words). But you can't really send that text if you never asked her out in the first place. So you've put yourself in a weird grey zone by texting her like that.

"I will probably be downtown both nights this weekend. Let me know if you want to meet."

Bad move. You never give her a choice!!

Ok, what do now? Not much left, I suppose. I would ask her out again next week, but this time do it with some enthusiasm and have an actual fun event to go to, like an art gallery or band or something.
