So I tried to get a date with a girl at my work and failed, and I'm wondering if it was my method or if it just wasn't going to happen. So I started a new job and was talking to a girl at my work for about two weeks. She seemed friendly and we shared a lot of interests so she peaked my interest. I decided to just go for it and invited her out for a drink. She gave me her number and a few days later when I tried to solidify the plans over text she said she had lots of work to do, I took the hint. I'm usually a lot more passive but I've been trying to be bold and take more risks lately so I just decided to go for it rather than beating around the bush like usual. Was I too forward and should have been more subtle or was she probably just not into me?
