I was a massive skeptic of this entire community, to be honest. Historically, I was always pretty good with women, but nothing special.

Want to know what changed everything? For a moment, I said, "I'm going to have fun for myself, say what I want and make myself laugh," and it attracted a girl who was taller, bitchy-guarded, etc.

She bought me drinks. She was hugging me. She was asking me to dance. She kissed my cheek. I couldn't believe it - a girl who, by her admittance, usually deflects men at bars was enamored by me.

Indirectly, she said it was my personality, confidence, and humor/smile that did it - she loved I was having fun with HER. She loved I was introducing her to everyone I knew - shockingly, social proof in a social situation is helpful to a degree I wasn't aware of - etc.

And the whole time? I was being me, the most confident version of me in the world. I didn't open up with a comment about her looks, I opened up with something completely random!

Thank you! Now I have to make sure I "get this" all the time.

EDIT: And being physically touchy was HUGE.
