You'd probably do yourself a favor by learning how to just comfortably talk with people. Roosh calls it "old people game" which is nonchalantly asking basic questions, or random observations to start a conversation. Stop having an agenda (at least in "daytime" scenarios).

Do it with people in line, a cashier, the person waiting for the plane. Ask questions you already know the answer to, just to get the skill of learning how to build a conversation from nothing. It's less hard than you'd think. Also, learn how to just babble a little bit. Not in a way that overwhelms, but just enough to get the other person comfortable with being in a conversation with you.

Not Super helpful but I did this once.

Had a super hot babe sitting next to me on a flight. I was initially IODing her. Did the usual hello and hi but nothing else. Anyways, we take-off and on second segment climb we run into some turbulence(weather was pretty shitty). She visible gets scared and starts OMGing. I bend towards her and tell her, "Hey listen. You are absolutely safe on a plane, no matter what happens, untill the wings fall off." She looks at me in disgust and says, "Thats not funny." I smile back and say something like oh boy I guess you are a liberal arts major definitely not someone with a science background(said this with a smirk in a teasing kind of way).You are safe and fine. Her: How do you know that?Me :I do this for a living.I am an Aerospace engineer.

We then talk while I show off my nerdiness about planes and stuff. Had an interesting chat for 5 hours. So much fun and better than watching a movie or some random TV show on the inflight system.

We had a layover afterwards and while hers was shorter than mine, I still escalated and got with a K-close, a number and an invite to visit her. Not a great seduction FR or anything just me boasting how studying aerospace is helping me land chicks.

Airports are the best. I have made out with countless girls at airport bars, gotten blown in the family bathroom, and had a chick pay for and fly out to visit me (kinda scary, but makes for a great story).

With airport the name of the game is escalation... you either close or you walk, and you have limited time.
