There is an apparent contradiction in the literature about qualities of an 'alpha' male. He is expressive of his emotions, has animated facial expressions and engages others on an emotional level. Yet he is also emotionally stable. How does this work? By emotionally stable are we referring to positive emotions, or no emotions at all?
