Fast money isn't a good plan. Focus on situations that provide you optionality and plan backwards from your end goal. When you have a plan, begin working on your strategy. What happens when you fail? I use a pyramid for this personally. My plan goes right up the middle, I then find lateral positions and put them on the same tier.

Expect failure, hard times, pain and suffering. You are the marbel and the sculptor.

I feel you. I was in prison from 19-21, then had an 18 month probation period. I'm also 23.

You started a failed business, turn that around and say you've successfully started a business, but the project plans didn't work out. That's sheer dedication and great resume material.

Go back to school and finish your degree.

Having a diploma that says "bachelors of engineering" on it is super useful in regards to marketing yourself, even if you aren't going to learn much in one more year of school.

A college degree is a quick way for an employer to assess the minimum they can expect from an applicant. Most won't even consider you without one.

I am very ambitious, curious, and my entrepreneurship experience gave me methods to go from analyzing needs to building solutions to those needs.

Time for some tough love -- this is garbage. You're a college dropout who failed at building a startup. On paper, there is nothing that tells me how good you are.

If I'm an employer, and you want me to pay you the big bucks, you need to tell me what value you provide. Why should I hire you over every other schmuck who claims to be "good at building solutions"?

Money is a precise metric of how many fucks someone (or many people) give about what you offer, whether a service or a physical commodity. What do you offer that anyone should give lots of fucks about?
